Author Rights
Excluding Certain Reviewers from the Evaluation Process
Authors may indicate specific reviewers to whom their manuscript should not be sent, based on conflicts of interest or ethical considerations.
In addition, the editor does not assign reviewers in the following situations:
- Reviewers who have previously co-authored with the author(s),
- Reviewers who assisted during the pre-submission or preliminary review stages,
- Reviewers known to have had prior disputes with the author(s),
- Reviewers who may gain financially from the publication of the manuscript,
- Reviewers who work at the same institution or department as the author(s).
Withdrawal
Authors may withdraw their manuscripts during the evaluation process, provided they have not yet been published.
Appeals Against Reviewer Reports and Editorial Decisions
Authors have the right to appeal against reviewer comments or editorial decisions at any stage. In such cases, authors are required to submit a written justification for their objections.
If deemed necessary, the editorial board may initiate a new review process following the appeal.
Post-Publication Use and Author Rights
The copyright of published articles and reviewer reports belongs to the KAFADEMİ Scientific Research and Development Cooperative.
However, authors may contact the editorial board regarding permissions or requests concerning the use of their published work.
The Orun editorial board evaluates and responds to such requests, including academic uses, republication, or other forms of dissemination.
Correction Notice
In the event of material errors arising from the editorial or publication process, or factual mistakes attributable to the author, a correction notice may be requested by the author to be published in the next available issue.
